Frequently Asked Questions about Algebra Boost!
What is this website and how can it work for my child?
Your child will have private access with their own account to over 100 topics in Algebra 1. Each lesson has a video, worksheet and answer key. The video is Ms. Thall going over the exact worksheet with strategies and hints on how to work your way through the problem. Ms. Thall is great at explaining and going through the problem as if she is teaching in her own classroom. This way students can use this resource as direct instruction, guided / modeled practice, or independent practice and review is an awesome part of the program.
What are some ways students use the website?
- Use the videos as a reteach tool if they struggled with understanding it in class
- Extra Practice: Help with homework, classwork, and to prepare for quizzes and tests.
- Review and Remediation Material: When topics come up again and they need a refresher on how to do the topic - all the components in the program are a great resource to help.

Do the students have unlimited access to all the resources into the website?
Yes, if you are a member you will have access to everything posted in the website. Ms. Thall is continuously adding practice weekly into the units.
Is the website student friendly?
Yes! Ms. Thall built this website with students in mind. Simple, yet effective being the goal. Students can simply search the topic they need to find and videos and practice will be there waiting for them.
